In a game that featured a lot of heavy transitions and good scoring chances by both teams, it was a goal by Enrique Garcia with about 10 minutes left that proved to be the only goal of the game and all Dayton would need in a 1-0 win over Baytown Lee on Tuesday night afternoon at Sultis Stadium. The goal was set up as Angel Aguiar sent a corker-kick into the penalty area that midfielder Brian Reyes was able to head back into the goalmouth for Garcia to hammer it home for the game-winner. Goalkeepers Esteban Vega and Thomas Jones both played well at goalie, with each making key saves to combine for the clean sheet. Senior defenders Victor Mancilla and Garcia both had strong games in defense. The Broncos are now 3-1 on the season and will travel regional powerhouse #3 Friendswood on January 2nd for a 6:30 start at Henry Winston Stadium.
