Officials from the City of Plum Grove held a discussion with Texas State Senator Robert Nichols and TX- DOT District Engineer Chad Bohne via a Zoom call on Monday night about the possibilities of converting Plum Grove Road over to a farm to market roadway and relinquishing control of that badly damaged roadway to the state of Texas in the process. Council will be considering a resolution to support the measure in the coming weeks, possibly joining Liberty County in an earlier resolution in support of the project.
