Dayton sweeps Beaumont Westbrook
DAYTON - On Tuesday night at home, the Dayton Lady Broncos welcomed in Class 6A Beaumont West Brook and were not a very nice host as they sent the Lady Bruins back home in three games 25-11, 2624, and 25-17.
Jerrica Keener led the way on offense and defense with 6 kills, 11 digs, 4 aces, and 2 solo blocks.
AnnaKate Howeth and Kharma Brown followed behind with four kills each. Abby Waller also was a standout with 10 assists and Addy Murphree finished the night with 9 digs.
“ I am seeing progress each week as the girls are coming in with a goal in mind and are working hard day in and day out to achieve those goals,” said Dayton Head Coach Carly Dyess.
“As a coach, I am seeing players peak at the right time, as we are within 2 weeks of district play.”
The Lady Broncos will be in action again on Friday afternoon as they travel to Splendora.
