On Friday morning, the Liberty cross country teams hit the beach.
That is, they took part in the Galveston Ball Reach Run.
The Lady Panthers ran a three-mile course along the beach and were able to improve almost across the board on previous meet times.
On the boy’s side, it was Liberty taking first and second place as Patrick Flowers took home another first-place medal while teammate Matthew Morin was right behind him in second place.
The Panthers cross country teams will be in La Porte this Friday morning to participate in the Bulldog Invitational.
The Liberty middle school teams will run in their first meet of the season on Saturday as they participate in the Dayton Bronco Invitational.
