While receiving physical therapy for a minor injury to her right arm, my wife saw a young man who was there every time she had been. She said, “Danny, he has a large scar on one arm that he can barely use; he’s in a wheelchair; he trembles and breaks out in a sweat when trying to do the therapy to help him be able to walk again, but he always has a smile on his face and a cheerful word for everyone.”

The Apostle Paul is brought out of prison, where he had been for two years, to answer the charges against him, and he begins with these words, “I think myself happy…” (Acts 26:2) You do not determine my attitude. I deter “ mine my attitude.
