Dayton Chamber’s Twilight Gala set
DAYTON — The Dayton Chamber of Commerce is putting the final touches on its annual gala and awards banquet.
Entergy is the presenting sponsor for the annual event set for Thursday, Feb. 8, at 6 p.m. at the Dayton Community Center.
The chamber event has become a staple of the organization, allowing the Dayton and Liberty area community to come together and dine while honoring some of the top businesses in the community.
“This is a time to come together as chamber members and community members who may not be a part of the chamber,” said Executive Director Sean Stockard. “I look forward, personally, to this being a time for me to meet a lot of members I haven’t had the chance to meet yet.”
Like always, the night is an opportunity to honor and celebrate all the local businesses, chamber members, and volunteers’ contributions over the past year.
The chamber is currently seeking nominations for Retail Business of the Year, Service Business of the Year, and Volunteer of the Year. The nominations for the retail business and service business must be chamber members.
All nominations must be received by Feb. 5, no later than 5 p.m.
The chamber is also seeking donations for their silent auction, which will be needed by the Monday before the event. The silent auction is sponsored by Texas Diamond Realty Sherri Schmitt, Cardinal Dental Group, The Broken Plank, State Farm Juan Carranco, and Tire Service Specialist, LLC, with more opportunities available.
Thrift-Tees Food Center and CMC Railroad are the dinner sponsors, while Stellar Bank is sponsoring the desserts and beverages.
JellyIT and State Farm Juan Carranco are sponsoring the decorations for the evening.
Bear Plumbing will sponsor the photo booth and the awards will be presented by Alisha Dale, The Vindicator, and Mainframe 24-hr Wrecker.
There will be plenty of time for social networking during the event, along with a catered dinner, beer, wine, and soft drinks. The awards ceremony will take place after dinner.
There will also be a DJ and dance floor, so get your best dancing shoes and join in on this eventful night.
Tickets can be sold individually or in packs. An individual ticket costs $75, and a pair of tickets costs $140. You can also buy a half table for $ 350 or a full table for $700.
