DAYTON — The Dayton Lady Broncos were well represented on the 16-5A All-District Team.

Leading the way and being named the Newcomer of the Year was freshman Marley Miksch.

Two Lady Broncos, Jasmin Santillan and Emilia Carranco, finished on the first team.

'We have come an incredible distance in the world of girls' soccer here in Dayton,' said Head Coach Erin Janik. 'The honors and triumphs achieved by these extraordinary young women this year have been nothing short of awe-inspiring. They have poured their blood, sweat, and tears into this sport and program, making sacrifices that few their age would willingly make.'

Mia Fuentes, Yoselyn Mata, and Sarah Penaloza were named to the second team.

Dayton then landed three more players on the Honorable

Mention Team. They are Destiny Alas, Nayeli Frias, and Amerra Zeno.
