Lady Panthers 8th Grade-A moves to 13-1 on the season

HAMSHIRE - The Liberty Lady Panthers 8th grade A team moved to 13-1 on the season and stayed a perfect 8-0 in district play last Thursday night with a 46-19 win against the Hamshire- Fannett Shorthorns.

Bayleigh Taylor got Liberty off and running with six quick points as Liberty jumped out to a big early lead. Taylor was the leading scorer for the Lady Panthers with 14 points, and teammate Tiana Patterson was right behind with 13. Jayci Lackey led the team in assists.

The 7th grade A team fell by just two points to Hamshire- Fannett. The Lady Shorthorns won the game in the final couple of minutes. Leading the way in scoring was Hailey LaFleur with 11 points.

The final home game for the junior high ladies will be today, starting at 5 pm, as Livingston comes to town.
