DAR recognizes Good Citizens

The Libertad Chapter of DAR recognized the winners of the Good Citizens award from four local high schools at their February meeting. The Senior students were chosen based on four characteristics that most represent leadership, dependability, service, and patriotism in their home, school, and community. The chapter awarded two students with $500 scholarships - Hannah Zebreski and Eduardo Mata. Hannah will be attending Lamar University and Eduardo will be attending Sam Houston State University.
