Women's History Month Highlight- Tori Martin

Tori Martin is a dedicated nurse with nearly nine years of experience in direct patient care. She entered the nursing field because of her passion for providing a safe, comforting space for patients.

As an LVN, Martin felt limited in what she could do career-wise, which is why she eagerly embraced the opportunity to grow when stepping into the role of clinical manager at Liberty Dayton Medical Clinic in June of 2024. This role has not only allowed Martin to expand her career but also brought her back to her roots in Liberty County, where she is proud to serve her community.

In October of 2024, Martin married her husband, and together, the pair blended into a beautiful family of four. Just two months later, in December of 2024, she received the devastating diagnosis of Triple Negative Breast Cancer.

“Despite the challenges, I remain steadfast in my commitment to my work, my family and my patients,” Martin said.

With support from her amazing team, Martin continues to fight her cancer battle with the utmost effort.

“The strength I draw from my family, friends and coworkers keeps me going every day, reminding me why I do what I love,” Martin said. “I am truly grateful for the opportunities I’ve had and for the unwavering support that surrounds me.”
