Anahuac hosts 39th Annual Gid Campbell Relays

ANAHUAC- As the 2025 track season heads for the home stretch, the 39th Annual Gid Campbell Relays were held last Thursday at Kyle White Stadium.

The Anahuac boys and girls track teams hosted the annual relays, and several Panthers made some noise at this year's edition.

Concordia Lutheran won the overall team meet for the boys with 115 points. Hamshire-Fannett was just three points behind in second place. Anahuac finished eighth in the team totals with 27 points.

Logan Trotter won first place in the high jump for Anahuac.

On the girls' side, Huffman took first place with 142 points. The Lady Panthers finished 10th with 14 points.

The varsity boys will head out to Daisetta this week for the annual Bobcat Relays, while the ladies will compete at the Silsbee Tiger Relays.

Next weekend, Anahuac will host the Class 22-3A District Meet with prelims and field events on Thursday, April 1 and the finals on Saturday, April 3.
