Every Tuesday morning at ten o’clock a talented group of ladies meets at the Liberty Municipal Library for an hour or two of camaraderie and creativity as they take up their handcrafts and visit. The Lost Arts Club, as the group is called, has been in existence for over a decade, and several of the members have been part of the club since its inception.

Community members came out Saturday, March 26 for the Liberty County Historical Association’s unveiling of their newest historical marker at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Longtime church goers were excited to be a part of the dedication of one of the oldest churches in the area.

(1) The Angelina County Texas History Conference will take place a week from Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Meeting Room of the Angelina County Chamber of Commerce on 1615 South Chestnut in Lufkin Texas.
