DAYTON HIGH SCHOOL CHOIR EXCELS AT COMPETITION

Dayton High School Choir members attended the All-Region Choir Auditions at Port-Neches Groves High School on Saturday, Sept. 23. Fourteen Dayton HS Choir students were selected for the All-Region Choir. Olivia Williams, Esther Garza, Isabella Rocha, Sierra Kovar, and Violet Hayes were selected for the All-Region Treble Choir. Jenna Davis, Magdalena Hajkova, Keira Carroll, Alexander Castillo, Richard Caster, Salvador Dorado, Joseph Briggs, Jacob Galvan, and Joseph Maberry were selected for the All-Region Mixed Choir. The All-Region Clinic and Concert will be held Nov. 13-14 at Nederland High School Performing Arts Center. Jenna Davis, Magdalena Hajkova, Keira Carroll, Alexander Castillo, Richard Caster, Salvador Dorado, Joseph Briggs, Jacob Galvan, and Joseph Maberry have advanced to the Pre-Area Auditions. The Pre-Area Auditions will be on November 30th at Hargrave High School in Huffman. Congratulations to these students.
