WALK WITH A DOC
In recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month, Health Center of Southeast Texas is hosting Walk with a Doc, Thursday, April 27, from 10-11 am, at 1202 N. Travis St. This doctor-led group is a fun and safe place to go for a walk, learn about health, and meet new friends. The event is free and all are welcome. There will be light refreshments. SWING BAND COMING TO CLEVELAND
Southeast Texas Swing Band is having a concert at First Baptist Church in Livingston on April 27, at 7 pm. Another concert on May 11 at 7pm at Calvary Baptist Cleveland. SIP AND SUPPORT
On April 28, from 6 to 8 pm, the Dayton Enhancement Committee presents Sip and Support at the community center, 801 S Cleveland, Dayton. $40 per person, there will be wine and Hor D’ Oeuvres. SALE
The youth at Hardin Methodist Church are holding a Camp Fundraiser on Saturday, April 29th. There will be a Car Meet open to everyone for free. They will be having a Pancake Breakfast and Yard Sale as well. Come out and enjoy the day, while supporting a great cause.
CONVERSATIONS & BREAKFAST
Pastor Ken Davis from Calvary Baptist Church in Dayton invites everyone to come talk to him or pray with him on Friday mornings from 8:30am to 12pm at MacDonald’s. You bring the conversation, and he buys the breakfast. You are also more than welcomed to send him a Facebook message to leave a prayer request for him.
FIRST SUNDAY JAM
The first Sunday of each month Cleveland VFW is sponsoring “The First Sunday” jam hosted by the Loose Change Band from 1-5pm. Bring your axe and your talent. Musicians wanted. There will be food available.
CLEVELAND NINTH GRADE CENTER FOOD MARKET Cleveland Ninth Grade Center hosts a Food Market every two weeks, from 9 am – 12 pm. This market is set up and run by student volunteers. Everyone is welcome. We have a goal to provide food for 150 families. Help us reach our goal! The Market is located at 1522 N. Blair, Cleveland.
SENIOR LUNCHEON
Every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, a free senior luncheon will be held at the Dayton Community Center 11 am – 12 pm. The event will be hosted by the City of Dayton, Trinity River Food Bank, and G.R.A.C.E. Call 936-258-6630 to sign up for a meal.
YARN CLUB

On the third Tuesday of every month, a Senior Breakfast will be held at the Dayton Community Center at 9 am. Donations are welcomed. Thrif-tee Food Center will sponsor the breakfast.

The City of Dayton will host Dominos 42 on Tuesdays from 8 am -12 pm at the Dayton Senior Center. If you are not into “42”, then bring some friends. There will be plenty of cards and dominos at the Senior Center. You can start a new group!

CELEBRATE RECOVERY
The Family Church in Hardin hosts Celebrate Recovery, a weekly class every Tuesday at 7 pm. If you know someone who needs this class, please share this information with them. This is a Bible- based recovery program for alcohol, drugs, codependency, anger management, etc. The Family Church is at 9456 HWY 146 N in Hardin, Texas.
