Breaux named second-team all-state

He is only a junior at Liberty High School this year, but Zach Breaux is still collecting very high awards from this past football season. Last week, Breaux was named 2nd Team All-State Defensive Back by the Padilla Poll Coaches Poll.
Breaux finished this past season with seven interceptions for 101 return yards and one touchdown. He also had one fumble caused and one fumble recovery.
While Breaux is honored for his defensive skillset at the state level, he was also named the District 9-4A Offensive Newcomer of the Year. Liberty Head Coach Chris Lackey has a good one in Breaux and will get to have him for another year.
