Nannie Lee Taylor, 1935-2019
Nannie Lee Taylor, 83, of Raywood passed away on Friday, July 12, at her residence in Raywood, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born Dec. 20, 1935, in Beaumont, to Togan Fregia and Drusilla Dowdee. She had lived in Raywood most of her life and was a homemaker and babysitter.
She is preceded in death by parents, husband Jesse Taylor; son Buddy Wayne Fregia; grandson Jesse "Jay" Roberts; sister Elnora Singleton; brother Raymond Fregia; and numerous half brothers and sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory are daughters Kathy Thornton and husband Ray of Hardin, Pam Sheffield and husband John of Cleveland, Marilyn Musick of Hardin, Sherri Hufford and husband Rodger of Raywood, Shirley Lyles of Livingston; sons James "Bubba” Taylor and wife Theresa of Hardin, Jesse W. Taylor and wife Vickie of Dayton, Roland Taylor and wife Wanda of Baytown; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
Grandchildren —18; great-grandchildren — 41; and great-great-grandchildren — 19.
A service of remembrance will be held on Tuesday, July 16, at 10 a.m. at Faith and Family Funeral Services Chapel with Pastor Harland Strother of Line Camp Cowboy Church of Devers officiating. Interment will follow at Oakdale cemetery in Daisetta. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Monday, July 15, from 5 until 9 p.m. at Faith and Family Funeral Services.
Honoring Nannie Lee Taylor as pallbearers will be Donny Roberts, Paskel Thornton, Kelvin Clark, Jacob Taylor, Jeffery Collins and Brandon Taylor. Honorary pallbearers are Robbie Nance, Heath Allemang, Robert Allemang, Jason Taylor, Daryl Taylor and David Taylor.
