TCL TRADE DAYS
The Tarkington Community Library will be hosting TCL Trade Days Saturday, May 14th from 9-4 pm. They will have crafts, arts, canned goods, boutiques, quilts, lotions & soaps, and various other booths. Also, the library has a Book Nook that is now open that sells books. PRANCERS SPRING SHOW
The Liberty High School Prancers will present their annual Spring Show on May 14 at 6:30pm. It will take place in the LISD Auditorium, 1629 Grand Ave., Liberty, TX 77575. The admission fee is $5. The public is invited to enjoy this wonderful Spring Show.
ELKS SOCCER SHOOT
Calling all soccer players in grades second through eighth, the Liberty Elks Lodge #2019 is hosting its first Soccer Shoot on May 15. You can sign up for free online or in person. HURRICANE PREPAREDNESS MEETING
The Liberty County Office of Emergency Management will be holding a Hurricane Preparedness Public Outreach Meeting on Monday, May 16 at 6:30 pm at the Cleveland Civic Center, 210 Peach Ave. Cleveland, TX 77352.
FUMC LIBERTY BLOOD DRIVE
First United Methodist Church Liberty, along with Life Share Blood Centers, will be hosting a blood drive, Thursday, Mary 19, 2022, from 3 to 7 pm, in the Fellowship Hall, 539 Main Street, Liberty. Anyone who has not donated whole blood in the last 56 days, or double red cells in the last 112 days, is eligible. By donating blood, you are truly giving the gift of life. TARKINGTON LIBRARY FUNDRAISER
The Tarkington Community Library is hosting a fundraiser. Their Board Members are selling 300 tickets for a Louis Vuitton Purse. The drawing will be posted on the library’s Facebook page after all 300 tickets are sold. Colbert Elementary will be holding the 2022-2023 school year Pre-K Round up Registration in the front office Thursday, April 14 to Friday, May 13 9a-2p by appointment only. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 22
Join the staff at the Olive Bethel Baptist Church in Hardin for Vacation Bible School on June 8-10 from 6pm to 9pm. Classes will be available for ages 3 through adults. They will have bible lessons, art, music, recreation, and food. Bible School will end with a Fun Day on June 11. The time for this event will be announced during Bible School. This year’s theme is Created in Christ-Designed for God’s Purpose.

CELEBRATE RECOVERY
The Family Church in Hardin hosts Celebrate Recovery, a weekly class every Tuesday at 7 pm. If you know someone who needs this class, please share this information with them. This is a Bible-based recovery program for alcohol, drugs, codependency, anger management, etc. The Family Church is located at 656 CR 2010 in Hardin, Texas.
