Liberty County Republican Convention Saturday
The Liberty County Republican Party will gather at the Jack Hartel Building for their 2022 County Convention this Saturday, March 26, at 9 am.
“County convention is a low stakes, great way for conservatives to become involved in the local party. While we appreciate all who take the time to vote, getting involved at the local level beyond voting helps increase voter awareness, education, and turnout,” Liberty County Republican Chairwoman Emily Cook said.
Any Liberty County voter who cast a ballot in the March Republican Primary is invited to attend this year’s convention and is encouraged by the party.
Delegates will discuss party platform issues and elect delegates to attend the Texas Republican Party Convention this June at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston.
“Convention will begin at 9 am with individual precincts meeting together in groups. While we can never tell just exactly when the convention will end, we hope to have all our business wrapped up by noon so folks can go enjoy the Jubilee in Downtown Liberty,” Cook concluded.
The convention will take place just up the street from the Liberty Jubilee.
