Candidates to speak at forum Tuesday

Do you have a question for the candidates in the upcoming March Primary? Would you like to know where they stand on the issues? Well then, make plans to attend the Liberty County Candidates Forum hosted by The Vindicator and Liberty County Bar Association next Tuesday, Feb. 8, at the Dayton Community Center. The event kicks off at 6:30 pm, with an opportunity to meet with the candidates and enjoy some light refreshments before the forum begins at 7 pm.

Candidates for County Judge, County Court at Law Judge No. 1, District Clerk, County Commissioner Pct. 4, Justice of the Peace Pct. 2, State Representative District 18, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals have been invited to attend the event.

The moderator panel will consist of longtime local radio host Bill Buchanan and local attorney’s Glenn Williams and Gilberto Flores.

The event will be livestreamed on The Vindicator’s Facebook page for those that would like to watch but cannot attend in person. The Community Center is located at 801 South Cleveland.
