Moore heading to Oklahoma Wesleyan to play Basketball

Not many high school athletes can say they played varsity for all four years. Liberty's Olivia Moore is one of those that can say she has accomplished that. All that hard work as a Lady Panther had landed her a basketball scholarship at Oklahoma Wesleyan in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Moore, who will graduate tomorrow from Liberty High School is excited about her new opportunity in life. "I am ready to see some new things and do some different things," said Moore. "More importantly I am excited to continue in getting a chance to play basketball at the next level. I have wanted to play college basketball since I was in elementary and that has been my main goal." While playing on the varsity for all four years, Moore has been a big part in leading the Lady Panthers to the playoffs in three of those years. "I feel we have had some success here in the program in getting to the playoffs in three of my years." Moore's final two choices came down to Oklahoma Wesleyan and Centenary College of Louisiana. "At the end of the day I just felt more comfortable at Oklahoma Wesleyan. It's not too big of a campus and I just feel like it's a second home to me already," added Moore. Olivia plans to study Criminal Justice while she is in college. Her new head coach has already sent a packet for working out this summer and a diet plan. Moore will report on August 22 to Bartlesville. "I am going to work hard this summer and just try and improve my game before I get to Oklahoma Wesleyan. I also want to be in good shape before I get to campus."
