CELEBRATE RECOVERY
The Family Church in Hardin is hosting Celebrate Recovery, a weekly class every Tuesday Night at 7 pm. If you know someone who needs this class, please share this information with them. This is a Bible-based recovery program for alcohol, drugs, codependency, anger management, etc. The Family Church is located at 656 CR 2010 in Hardin, Texas.

•Challengers- Players that have a disability learning/mentally/physically that hinders them from playing a full season - this gives all children the opportunity to participate and learn a game they love! Ages 4-16 years of age.

FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY BAKELESS BAKE SALE
Due to the cancellation of the Liberty Jubilee for the second year, the Friends of the Library will not have the annual Book and Bake Sale, which is the annual fundraiser, so they will once again have a Bakeless Bake Sale!
Donations of any amount may be given from now until Friday, April 30th. Checks should be made out to the Friends of the Library.
The contributions may be mailed to Beverly Davis at 1711 Webster Street Liberty, Texas 77575-4752 or dropped in her mail slot at her front door or the checks may be taken to the library at the Cultural Center at 1710 Sam Houston Street.

Preschool Registration
Noah’s Ark Mother’s Day Out and Preschool at First United Methodist Church of Liberty, 539 Main St. is accepting registration applications for the 2021-2022 school year. Noah’s Ark classes meet from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Currently there are spaces available for children ages 1 year old to 4 years old. DAYTON SPORTS HALL OF FAME
The Dayton Sports Hall of Fame will hold the Induction ceremonies for the 2020 Hall of Fame Class on Saturday, June 12 at 10 am at the Dayton ISD Performing Arts Center, located at 3200 North Cleveland. The original planned induction was postponed due to COVID19.

As the legislative branch of the City of Ames government, the City Council holds open public meetings where local laws, policies, and basic decisions for the city are discussed and decided. City Council members are elected at large.

LIBERTY CITY COUNCIL MEETING
All members are elected at-large. The regular called meetings of the Liberty City Council are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. Special called meetings are typically held on the fourth Tuesday of each month, however, meetings may be called at any time to conduct necessary business.
