A Texas Beef Quality Assurance Training will be held Wednesday, Jan. 15, from 4 to 8:30 p.m. at White’s Park Community Center, 295 White’s Park Road in Anahuac, covering best management practices to ensure the beef you produce is safe and wholesome. Topics include residue avoidance, vaccine handling, proper injection technique, genetic selection, environmental stewardship, cattle handling and welfare. The training is sponsored by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, Texas Beef Council, Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association and Texas Beef Quality Assurance.
