MONT BELVIEU- The Barbers Hill Lady Eagles have been at the top of their game all year and now they are one win away from playing for a state title.

The Lady Eagles captured the Region III Championship Saturday afternoon at the Merrill Center in Katy with a 57-32 win over Bryan Rudder.

The Lady Eagles won the fourth quarter also in taking the 25-point win.

The defense for the Lady Eagles held the Lady Panthers to just four points in the opening quarter and just five points in the second quarter to lead 23-9 at the half.

The third quarter sealed the deal as Barbers Hill won it 13-6 and led 36-15 after three quarters.
