BURLEIGH RECOGNIZED FOR HARD WORK

DAYTON — Chief Derek Woods recognized Capt. Shane Burleigh for going above and beyond during the recent bad weather that brought much flooding to the area. While Dayton was not heavily impacted by floodwaters, Burleigh, who also serves as Emergency Management Coordinator for the city, helped coordinate efforts with other agencies and oversaw the police department as Woods was out of town.
