DHS Choir Brings Home Nine First Division Medals
DAYTON — Anne Landrum was proud to announce that the Dayton High School Choir was bringing home some serious hardware.
On Saturday, Feb. 3, members of the DHS Choir competed at UIL Solo and Ensemble Contest at Vidor High School.
Nine students earned First Division Medals.
Page-Brylee Williams earned a First Division Medal on a Class 3 Solo. Jeremiah Torres earned a First Division Medal on a Class Two Solo. The following students earned First Division Medals on Class One Solos and qualified for UIL State Solo and Ensemble: Jenna Davis, Olivia Williams, Keira Carroll, Richard Caster, Salvador Dorado, Alexander Castillo, and Joseph Briggs.
“Congratulations to these Dayton HS Choir students! We are extremely proud of these young men and women! We wish them good luck at State,” stated Landrum.
