Twilight Gala dazzles
DAYTON – The community came together for a night of dancing, dining, and the opportunity to honor some of the best and brightest volunteers and businesses at the Chamber’s Twilight Gala.
This event has been one of the biggest nights of the year for the Dayton community over the past twenty-three years. It is a night to relax, enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres, dinner, dessert, beverages, dance your tail off and win some awards.
Which leads us to the winners. Congratulations to August Blush Boutique, who was awarded Retail Business of the Year. Service Business of the Year was given to BEAR Plumbing.
John Gable of Jelly IT was named the Chamber Ambassador of the Year.
Jimmie and Samantha Cullars of BEAR Plumbing were also awarded Volunteers of the Year.
Last but not least, Dayton citizen Susan Simmons was enshrined in the Dayton Chamber Hall of Fame for all her hard work and commitment to improving the community in every way she could.
The Gala’s presenting sponsor was Entergy Texas.
The evening’s signature sponsor was Angel Lagoon.
Thrift-Tee and CMC Railroad sponsored the delicious dinner. The beverage sponsor for beer and wine was Rave Financial. Bear Plumbing sponsored the spinning photobooth that caught many memories of the night. Stellar Bank and Arnold Builders sponsored the dessert and beverage. Jelly. IT, State Farm, and Prosperity Bank sponsored the lovely décor done for this event.
