Angel Lagoon hosts groundbreaking safari
DAYTON — Who wouldn’t mind a nice oasis resort in their hometown after a long day or week of work? Maybe some time relaxing while kicked back in a hammock? Well, then, the Angel Lagoon may be just the ticket.
The Angel Lagoon broke ground with a beautifully put together ceremony with flavorful music and even tastier food.
Founder and CEO of The Lagoon Development Company, Uri Man, presented the plan and the story behind this new recreational project on Dayton’s south end.
Angel Lagoon is Texas’ first dedicated Crystal Lagoons Public Access resort that will significantly impact the recreational landscape of East Texas.
Crystal Lagoon is well- known for its crystal blue water and soft white beaches. They have built over 1,000 projects on several continents in different stages.
Their brand is defined by the luxurious sustainability and affordable beach life, which makes this beautiful project unique.
Angel Lagoon began its construction in the spring of this year and is planned to be finished by spring 2024. The grand opening is set for the summertime.
The 40-acre mixed-used entertainment district will have numerous amenities and entertainment options like the amphitheater and stage.
Several themed beaches include a palapa, synthetic turf lawn, beach volleyball courts, food truck plaza, swim-up bar, hammock lawn, watersports facility, boat docks and VIP cabanas.
There will be the Shoreline Grill for the foodies, and if the food at the ceremony is any indication, it will be to die for.
They even have clubs like the National Sailing Club and the Beach Club.
The resort’s water treatment system sends pulses of disinfection solution, which omits 100 times fewer chemicals than treatments in conventional swimming pools. This will allow for permanent disinfection and avoid contamination from external agents.
The resort will only use 2% of the energy and water a golf course typically uses. As the filtration volume is 300 times lower than traditional methods, the system is smaller, which reduces the space required for installation.
