SLIPPERY SLOPES

“In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.”
Though an experienced skier, Angel only skied green and blue slopes, the easy ones. She exited the ski lift and took off looking for signs to the greens and blues, but they were nowhere to be found. She had taken the wrong lift. With no other choice away she went. She only fell once, but made it down with no injuries and a heart full of joy.
As she was telling me this story she said, “That came at a difficult time in my life. God used it to remind me life does not always hand you the easy paths, but God always has His hand out to help you along.”
