THOUGHTFUL THINGS

“You must testify!”

It is in the book of acts,chapter 23 , where we find the great apostle Paul being beaten by the Jewish leaders. He was saved by the romans and placed in jail.

God would speak to Paul and tell him that everything was going to be okay,for he must testify of Him!

He told him that you were faithful to me in the past and I will take care of you in the future to be able to finish your work, just be brave….

It was after God spoke this to him that Paul would find out that 40 men took an oath to kill him.

I think that too many can relate too much to Paul’s situation!

We are facing so much in our life right now; Covid-19 sickness and death, economic troubles with so many out of work or just not enough to make ends meet,drug and alcohol addiction is more like a plague in our area,-fear,anxiety,doubt,and depression! This is the short list, it goes on and on!

It is these problems that are what is beating us down,tearing us apart,and placing us in prisons without bars! Like Paul, when we seem to finally get some relief we find out that there is just another plot against us!

With all of this in our lives, that doesn’t change who and what God is! He is the same yesterday,today and forever!

Acts 16: 26-26

[25] And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. [26] And suddenly there was a greatearthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.

I believe that the best thing that we can do is remember that and begin to testify of what He has done!

When we do that it pushes back against all of those things that are against us. It helps faith arise when it is low, it gives us the mindset that God has,therefore He still can!

I truly doubt that there is anyone that reads this That doesn’t have a testimony but maybe there is some that has allowed situations to blind you of it.

I hope,I pray that as you read this a memory,a testimony comes back to your mind and you remember that God is for you! That faith will arise in your life,-no matter what you are facing and you will once again start to sing your victory song!
