CHRISTMAS TURNAROUND

I will never forget taking my oldest son to the airport to return to college. We parked by the terminal and rode the underground tram inside. We went up the elevator and down a long hallway to the boarding gate. I saw him off, retraced my steps, and headed back to the car, but when I got there it was gone! I looked everywhere, but it was not there. I went over to the ticket booth to report my car stolen. The attendant said, “Are you sure you’re on the right side?” Sure enough, I was not. Everything looked the same but I was 180 degrees off.

The attendant said, “Don’t worry about it. It happens all the time.” I went back inside and out the other way. There was my car!

It happens all the time, people going the wrong way for whatever reason. No better time, than this Christmas, to turn around. Just turn around and turn to Jesus. “I am the way… and no one comes to the Father but by me.” (John 14:6)
