CREATURE OR PREACHER?
Decades ago, I was giving a children’s sermon during a regular worship service. All the children were gathered around me when young Travis innocently spoke up referring to me as creature instead of preacher! After all of us finished laughing, I politely corrected him and finished the children’s object lesson, but have never forgotten that humbling moment.
“Humble yourself in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up’ (James 4:10)
