Woods and Sims land on 13-6A All-District Team

CLEVELAND - Playing in a very tough baseball district, the Indians placed a pair of players to the 13-6A All-District Team.

Pitcher Xavier Woods was named to the second team as a junior, while senior Avery Sims was named to the second team as an outfielder.

The Woodlands won the district running away and dominated most top honors.

Brayden Sharp, who is heading to the University of Tennessee, was named the district’s MVP. Parker Blackman was named the Newcomer of the Year.

Ron Eastman, the head coach of The Woodlands, was named the Coach of the Year.
