Wickliff named to 214A All-District Team

LIBERTY — The 21-4A All-District Team was recently announced and the Liberty Panthers placed three players on the list.

Liberty Head Coach Jason Wickliff saw his son Jason Wickliff named to the first-team list.

The junior led the Panthers in scoring with 18.3 points per game. Wickliff also pulled in 7 rebounds and averaged three assists and three steals per game. Wickliff also led the team with 45 three-pointers and 543 points.

Senior guard Tony Denman was named to the second team. Denman averaged 10 points per game, four rebounds, two steals, and three assists per game. Denman finished the season with 19 three-pointers made.

Sophomore Frankie Marez was voted in on the Honorable Mention Team. Marez averaged six points per game, three rebounds, two steals, and two assists per contest.
