Tran has 50 assists to lead Lady Panthers to win over H-J

On Friday afternoon, Katrina Tran had a season-high 50 assists to lead the Liberty Lady Panthers over the Hardin-Jefferson Lady Hawks to clinch second place in district. The scores were 25-22, 13-25, 27-25, and 25-17. Kylie Bishop also had a second high in kills with 14. Madyson Goudeau added 13 kills, while Morgan Vaughn and Bryana Pantalion each finished with 12 kills apiece. Emalee Villareal led in digs with 19. The Lady Panthers will host Anderson-Shiro on Friday afternoon at home in a warm-up match. Liberty is now 28-9 on the season and finished district play at 9-3.
