LIBERTY — SETX Outlaws Baseball and Softball Organization in Liberty recognized four 2024 graduates who signed their Letters of Intent to play collegiate-level baseball on Wednesday, May 15.

Three upcoming graduates from Dayton High School were recognized: Grant Odom, who will be attending John Melvin University; Justin Hector, who is headed for Blinn College; and Tyler Threadgill, who will be heading to Evangel College to compete at the collegiate level.

Liberty High School’s Palmer Simeon will play college ball at Alvin Community College.

President and Founder Coach Victor Zuniga shared stories unique to each player on how they began their journey of playing baseball with the organization and how they grew to be the athletes they are today.

SETX Outlaws is currently celebrating their 10th anniversary, and as of 2022, they have committed nine players to colleges around Texas, Louisiana, and now Missouri.

A college fund was set up two years ago to encourage student-athletes to continue their education after high school.

This is their first year rewarding scholarships to their Senior applicants.
