Ruiz named District's Defensive Player of the Year

The Liberty Panther soccer team, under the direction of Head Coach Joe Roberts, landed some big spots on the 22-4A All-District Team. Junior Victor Ruiz led the way as the district’s Defensive Player of the Year. Named to the first team were senior Abdiel Garcia and sophomore Brayan Montes. Landing on the second team for the Panthers are Oscar Mendoza and Daniel Becerra. Honorable Mention selections are Ricardo Garcia, Daniel Del Rio, and Antonio Lule.
