Lowe takes home 23-3A MVP

Coming off a 31-9 record and 2nd place finish in District 23-3A, the Tarkington Lady Horns are all over the all-district list. Senior Emily Lowe was named the District’s MVP, leading the way and grabbing the biggest award of them all. Also, well-deserved was Coach of the Year in Tarkington’s Glenn Kennedy.
Eight more Lady Horns were named to the 23-3A list. Kalee Johnson, Monica Rodriguez, and Maddy Kelly are named to the first team.
Three more Tarkington ladies saw their way on the second team. They are Chelsey Manners, McKensie Doolittle, and Abby Peachee. Landing on the Honorable Mention were Charli Lewis and Natalie Deck.
The Lady Horns finished district at 10-2 and will return nine players from this year’s team.
“ The future is very bright for Tarkington volleyball,” said Kennedy.
