Liberty CC set to host Tony Munson Invitational on Saturday
Last year Covid limited the number of teams running at the Tony Munson Invitational Meet in Liberty. This year there will be no limit on the participants which means there could be over 1,000 runners at Liberty City Park on Saturday morning.
“The weather should be cooler, which should make for a great race,” said Liberty Head Boys Coach Joe Roberts.
“We are also hosting district, so this should be a great preview of that race as well.” The first race will be the small school varsity boys, which will start at 8 a.m. with the girls small school after that and then the large boys division followed by the girls large division.
“The coaching staff is coming together to make this meet special for all. Coach Evans has worked tirelessly to get things running smoothly.”
