H-D picks up a pair of wins
On Friday, Jan. 20, the Hull-Daisett a Lady Cats traveled to stateranked Big Sandy and gave them all kinds of fits for three quarters before the Lady Wildcats had a big fourth quarter in taking a 5433 decision.
Hull-Daisetta only trailed 21-17 at the half and 37-33 after three quarters of play. In the fourth quarter, Big Sandy showed its muscle and outscored the Lady Cats 17-0 in the period to win.
Kaylei Armstrong led the scoring with 14 points, and Kaidyn Smith and Quay Haskins added 6 points apiece. Adelyn Condra chipped in with 5 points.
On Friday night, the Lady Cats quickly dispatched Deweyville 73-39.
That made for a perfect week for Hull-Daisetta as they traveled to West Hardin on Tuesday night and came out with a 46-45 victory.
The Lady Cats led 30-23 at the break and held on in the fourth quarter for the win. Both teams put up 10 points each in the final eight minutes.
