DAYTON — Playing in a tough basketball district with teams like Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Huntsville, and Kingwood Park, to just name a few, the Dayton Broncos landed several players on the 16-5A All-District Team.
First-team all-district performer Ernie Rollins led the way on the list for Head Coach Rodrick Bankhead. The silky smooth guard was always a threat from three-point land.
Big man Donahvan Thibodeaux was named to the second team.
Dayton added two more to the Honorable Mention Team in Dawson Victorian and Daquailon Sampson.
The Broncos were not done there, as four players were picked for the All-Academic Team. They are Eric Williams, Braeden White, Hunter Leonard and Dante Mouton.
