Cleveland opens with Splendora at home
As students continue pouring into Cleveland ISD, it seems they find themselves on the move up every other February during UIL realignment.
This year, Cleveland will be in the biggest class in Texas, competing in 6A.
The Indians will compete in District 13-6A with The Woodlands, Conroe, Willis, Caney Creek, College Park, Oak Ridge, New Caney, and Grand Oaks. The Indians will host an old rival in the Splendora Wildcats at home on Aug. 26 to kick off the season. Cleveland then travels to Alvin on Sept. 2 for their final non-district game. After an open week, district play begins at home on Sept.16 with College Park.
The Indians then head for Caney Creek on Sept. 23 before returning home for Willis the following Friday.
A short week follows as Cleveland travels to The Woodlands for a Thursday night game on Oct. 6.
Oak Ridge comes to visit on Oct. 14 before a trip to Randall Reed Stadium on the 21st and a battle with New Caney. The Conroe Tigers come to visit on Oct. 28 before the regular season ends on Thursday at Grand Oaks.
