25-AA All-District picks announced

DAISETTA — The 25-AA All-District picks were announced a couple of weeks ago, and Jaden Graves of Evadale was named the district's MVP.

A couple of West Hardin players garnered top awards, as Reed Payne was voted as the Defensive Player of the Year, and the Newcomer of the Year went to Quenten Hashaw.

A couple of players shared the Co-Offensive Players of the Year in Devin Roberts of Sabine Pass and Warren Brewer of Evadale.

The Coach of the Year also went to Evadale's Coach Wilkins.

Braden Wyatt of West Hardin was named to the first team, while the Oiler's Traden Wyatt was named to the second team.

The Hull-Daisetta Bobcats placed two players on the Honorable Mention Team, Krispen Sowell and Josh Smith. Sowell and Smith were two of the top players for the Bobcats and led them in scoring for Head Coach Trenton Wallace.

The Oilers saw Marcos Hashaw also named to the Honorable Mention Team.
