Dayton ISD honors retirees
Each year at this time, school districts around the state honor those employees that will be retiring. Although this year brought many struggles and obstacles, it is now time for Dayton ISD to honor their own retiring teachers and support personnel. This year’s group of retirees has three hundred and forty-three (343) years of combined experience with an average career of twenty-eight (28) years. Dayton ISD is proud of these twelve individuals and the contribution that each one of them made to make Dayton ISD a better place. The impact that they have had on students and faculty alike is not something that can be measured. Their ability to reach students and inspire them to greatness will certainly be missed.
This year’s retirees made the rounds to each campus on a bus tour. The tour began at 9:00 am at the Dayton ISD Transportation Department and they visited each campus giving everyone an opportunity to say congratulations and goodbye.
Dayton ISD would like to say thank you for a job well done, and to let all of these awesome people know that ONCE A BRONCO, ALWAYS A BRONCO!
