Keith “Cowboy” Jannise, 69, of Wallisville passed away Sunday, February 2, 2025, in Baytown.

Keith was born March 20, 1955 in Dallas County to parents Cleveland and Ruth Jannise. Born into a family of 11 children, Keith left home at an early age and became a selfmade entrepreneur operating several business ventures over the years, most recently Cowboy’s Services Inc., Cowboy’s Ready Mix, and CSI Towing and Recovery.

Mr. Jannise was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Sherry Dallas Jannise; former spouse: Debbie Jannise; son: Keith “Bubba” Jannise, II; nephew: Jeffrey Hill; daughters: Crystal Hartsfield (Joe), Amanda Jannise (Spencer); sisters: Norma Pepper, Lynda Noble, Sandra Rogers, Sherry Mecom, Robin Sonnier, Donna Pace, Tammy Rogers, and Candy Farris; brothers: David Jannise and Brian Jannise; grandchildren: Keith Jannise III, Rylan Jannise, Jenna Jannise, Jamie Jannise, Taylor Altom, Blake Edward, Jayce Martin, Macy Runnells and Chance Runnells; great grandchild: Tessa Ortiz; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends with a Celebration of Life ceremony planned for 5 p. m., March 14, 2025 at the Chambers County Westside Complex located at 8138 FM 3246, Baytown, TX 77523.
