Sharron Rose Baldwin-Farris, 1945-2021
On May 20th, 1945 God sent down an angel. On October 3rd, 2021, Sharron Rose Baldwin-Farris, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, was brought back home to Heaven.
Sharron was born in Galveston, to parents Norma Rhea Callihan-Krenek and George R. Baldwin. In 1949, at age 4, Sharron moved back to Liberty and lived out most of the rest of her life here.
Sharron was an angel to all who knew and loved her. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, Cub Scout den leader and general “mom” to her children, grandchildren and all their friends. She was very proud of all her “kiddos” – those by blood or step and those who were adopted along the way. She would want all of you to know she loved you and will always be with you, even in your darkest moments. An avid Astros fan, like her mother before her, Sharron will be watching the playoffs this year from above and providing our boys with her prayers!
Sharron is survived by her two sons, James Ray Harris and his wife Patti Roth-Harris of Austin, TX and Paul Harris of Cove, TX. Her two grandsons, Preston Harris and his wife Taylor Burnett-Harris of Liberty, TX and Michael Wells and his wife Cierra of Spring, TX. Also, her special, beautiful and only great granddaughter Elisabeth Grace Wells, also of Spring. Brothers, Rodney Baldwin and his wife Jimmie Dell of Beaumont, TX and Victor (Peanut) Krenek and his wife Kathy of Atascocita, TX. Aunt Iris and husband Horace (Whitt) Whittington of Devers, TX. And VERY special, life-long friend/sister Linda Mann of Liberty, TX. Many nieces/ nephews, cousins and family (blood and step) should be included here because she loved everyone equally. Also, please keep her dog Max in your prayers as well - he is lost without her but will be ok as all of us will too.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Norma Rhea Krenek, special step father Victor Krenek and father George R Baldwin. Husband Robert Eugene Farris and special ex-husband James Ray Harris. Also, special friend, David Miller.
In closing, Sharron would want everyone to know she’s ok and not to cry for her (as much as we all can’t help it). She is finally at peace and with her mother and all the animals and friends that will be waiting for her at the gates of Heaven...especially her beautiful dog Buffy who was the love of her life.
As per her wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service. If there is something you feel like you need to do in her memory, in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the SPCA. Neglected animals held a special place in her heart.
