Liberty County Covid Vaccination Clinic
Liberty County is hosting a Covid-19 Vaccine Clinic on Thursday March 18, 2021 at the Jack Hartel Building located at 318 San Jacinto in Liberty from 8am to 5pm or until supplies last for aged 5o or older and 16 years or older with underlying health conditions.
Seeking Volunteers!
Health Center of Southeast Texas is hosting vaccine clinics and are seeking volunteers.
Dr. Sulaiman is asking for volunteers to assist with helping patients with the installation of the V-safe app on their phones while they are waiting in the monitoring area after their vaccine, helping lead patients into the vaccine clinic area etc.,
It wouldn’t be anything clinical/medical related.
You may volunteer anywhere from 1 hour to 8 hours.
Please contact Melaney Strickland for information on volunteering.
Burn Ban Lifted
The Liberty County Judge has lifted the burn ban for Liberty County due to the recent rains and apparent spring vegetative growth now appearing. Please continue to use caution when burning and pay close attention to strong winds which may spread fires unexpectedly. Please obey all the TCEQ statutes regarding outdoor burning and keep your First Responders in mind should you decide to burn.
