Liberty hires Jeff Blume to create golf course master plan
On Oct. 8, the Liberty City Council voted to hire Jeff Blume, a member of the American Society of Golf Course Architects, to complete a master plan for the Liberty Municipal Golf Course. The master plan will be used to plan and prioritize future renovations and improvements at the golf course with the overall goal of improving the playing experience for all golfers.
As part of the master planning process, Mr. Blume will analyze and evaluate items such as the golf course’s site location, property boundaries, vegetation, topography, soils, drainage, course irrigation and aerial photographs. This analysis will take place on a hole by hole basis to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of each hole.
The entire master planning process is expected to take 3-4 months to complete.
