FEMA Mitigation Education Outreach Specialists are now in Beaumont and Cleveland.

Disaster survivors affected by the severe storms and floods from Tropical Storm Imelda, can visit local home improvement stores in Beaumont and Cleveland, Texas, Tuesday, Nov. 12, to Saturday, Nov. 16, for rebuilding tips from mitigation experts.

Mitigation specialists from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will be on hand to answer questions about home repair, making disaster plans, putting together supply kits and the importance of flood insurance.

Assistance will be available at the following locations:

LIBERTY COUNTY

McCoy Lumber Supply, 1000 Frontage Street South, Cleveland, TX 77327

Tuesday, Nov. 12, through Friday, Nov. 15, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; and Saturday, Nov. 16, from 7 a.m. to 5.p.m.

JEFFERSON COUNTY

Ritter Lumber Supply, 7420 Hwy. 105, Beaumont, TX 77713

Tuesday, Nov. 12, through Friday, Nov. 15, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; and Saturday, Nov. 16, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
