LIBERTY — Tommy Brents, a dedicated public servant and advocate for local taxpayers, is excited to announce his candidacy for re-election to the Liberty City Council. With a proven track record of upholding his promises and focusing on the well-being of the community, Brents is committed to continuing his work to promote fiscal restraint, economic growth, and transparency in Liberty.

During his tenure on the City Council, Brents has been a consistent voice for efficient but limited government, personal liberty, and fiscal responsibility. He has actively opposed legislation that hinders property owners and has been committed to supporting the rehabilitation of the city’s streets and other critical infrastructure. “It has been an honor to serve the people of Liberty, and I am eager to continue advocating for policies and local legislation that fosters an even more thriving and safe community,” said Brents.

Brents’ re-election platform is focused on promoting local businesses, advocating for limited government and personal liberty, ensuring fiscal responsibility in the city’s budgeting and taxation, supporting and adequately equipping public safety and first responders, improving critical city infrastructure, and enhancing transparency to ensure that Liberty’s city government is open, accountable, and responsive to the needs of its citizens.

Brents is a self- employed IT consultant, a second-generation small business owner, and a dedicated family man. He and his wife, Whitney, are proud parents to Matthias, Joanna, and Arthur. As a lifelong resident of The City of Liberty, Brents is deeply invested in the future of the city and is committed to making Liberty a better place for all who call it home.

“ I am running for re-election because I believe in Liberty’s potential and the importance of principled leadership in achieving our goals. We have seen better days as a city, but I’m optimistic that the best is yet to come. Together, we can draw inspiration from Liberty’s rich history and heritage to create a thriving environment for businesses, a flourishing community for families, and a place where strong community bonds are nurtured and our values are steadfastly upheld,” said Brents.

Tommy Brents invites all residents of Liberty to join him in his campaign for a prosperous, safe, and transparent future. For more information about his campaign and how to get involved, please visit www.tommybrents. com.
