Hope for Christmas comes to Liberty
We are nearing that special time of year, as Christmas is just around the corner and Hope For Christmas event organizers are hard at work to ensure everyone experiences a wonderful holiday season. This wonderful organization will be partnering with Liberty ISD and San Jacinto Elementary Saturday, Dec. 9 at 9 am to provide a shopping mall type experience giving those in need some hope for Christmas.
The event will feature Santa and Mrs. Claus greeting participants as they arrive and children will have the opportunity to hear a special message, while creating some special crafts as the parents get the opportunity to shop for a special Christmas gift. Once parents have had the opportunity to select a gift they will take them to be wrapped, while taking part in a special ministry area to enjoy a timely message and have the opportunity for prayer.
Organizers are seeking toys for the children, and they can be dropped off at any number of locations across Liberty; Heights Baptist Church, Freedom Church, North Main Baptist Church, South Liberty UMC, Central Baptist Church, St. John Baptist Church M.B.C., Cornerstone Church, Oilfield - Lily of the Valley, Liberty Church of Christ, Bethel Church, Turkey Creek Church, Grace Church – Liberty, Liberty County Teachers FCU, First Liberty National Bank and LISD - Administration Offices.
